Got Questions?
Q) How do I view the your newsletter?
A) Go here. Members can view our latest newsletter and previous newsletters.
Q) I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
A) You can reset your password by going here and clicking “Lost Password.” You’ll receive an email with a link to change your password.
Q) When one of TSPKey’s strategies changes its allocation, is this for interfund transfers (IFTs), contribution allocations or both?
A) Our service is primarily for IFTs, but we generally recommend using the same fund breakdown for contribution allocations. The only exception is when we have short-term IFTs (5-10 days). We typically have 2 or 3 of these each year. When we do, we’ll specifically address this issue in our emails and member’s area. We don’t recommend changing your contribution allocation during short-term IFTs. If you’re not familiar with IFTs and contribution allocations, here’s a helpful video from the TSP office.
Q) I just joined. Should I do an IFT and contribution allocation immediately or should I wait until your next allocation change?
A) We can’t give personalized investment advice. As a general rule, though, we think it’s best to follow our recommendations immediately. Some people are hesitant to invest in stocks if there’s already been a strong rally. However, stock market rallies can last much longer than people expect. The same is true for stock market declines, though long-term declines don’t occur very often.
