Recap of the Week
Stocks had mixed results last week. Trading was choppy and mostly non-eventful. The Nasdaq had a nice gain and the Russell 2000 did reasonably well. The S&P 500 was flat, however, while the Dow Jones had a loss.
Economic Data
The Chicago purchasing manager’s index, consumer confidence and new home sales were better-than-expected. However, initial jobless claims, pending home sales and durable goods orders came in below expectations.
TSP Funds
The I Fund had the biggest gain of 2.38%. The S Fund moved up 0.66%, while the F Fund gained 0.49%. The C Fund had a tiny loss of 0.05%.
