Stocks rallied last week. Technology and small-cap stocks had the best performances, though large-cap stocks also did well. On a monthly basis, stocks had their best performance since October.
Economic Data
Pending home sales, consumer confidence, the Chicago purchasing managers index and nonfarm payrolls (new jobs) came in above their forecasts. Unemployment claims and the unemployment rate were worse-than-expected.
TSP Funds
The S Fund had the week’s biggest gain of 3.11%. It was followed by the C Fund’s gain of 1.84%. The I Fund advanced by 0.62% while the F Fund gained 0.60%.
