Quick Recap of the Week
Stocks fell after another volatile week of trading. Protests in Hong Kong set a cautious tone on Monday. Investors continued to sell until mid-day on Thursday. At that time, stocks began to rebound. This continued on Friday, as employment data was better-than-expected. This reversal may have been a “technical bounce,” however, as stocks had become very oversold. We should find out more next week.
The I Fund was hit the hardest, falling by 3.42%, followed by the S Fund’s 1.30% loss. The C Fund dropped 0.72%, while the F Fund gained 0.41%.
