Quick Recap of the Week
It was a choppy week for the stock market. In the U.S., stocks moved up, but a rising U.S. dollar hurt international markets.
Economic data was mostly positive. The monthly employment numbers were better-than-expected. So was construction spending and the ISM non-manufacturing index. The ISM manufacturing index came in below expectations, however.
The S Fund was the best performer, advancing 2.07%. The C Fund followed with a 1.03% gain. Fear of rising interest rates hurt the F and I Funds. The F fell by 0.80% while the I Fund declined by 0.86%.
YTD Return as of 11/5/15: -10.19%
Current allocation: 100% C Fund as of 11/2/15
New Trades: None.
